[ the challenge ]

Generating an image is the cheap half. A dozen services do it and the output is interchangeable.

Deciding whether the result is acceptable is the half that did not commoditize, because it depends on a standard someone had to define and then defend under pressure. That standard is usually locked in one person's head, which means it does not scale and it does not survive them going on holiday.

[ the outcome ]

“An open engine that reads a written set of laws, rejects any frame that breaks one, names the law that broke, and regenerates. It ships empty on purpose: the registry belongs to whoever writes it.”

The judge runs on a model from a different family than the generator. A model does not reliably catch the mistake it is itself inclined to make, and a check that agrees with everything is not a check. The engine and an eight-page guide are public, in English and Portuguese.

Every system encodes a belief. This one encodes that the law comes before the piece.
